Winter nets will be held at Belper Leisure Centre starting Sunday 8th January 1pm-2pm. Please make every effort to attend the early sessions.

Duffield CC are Amber Valley's "Club of the Year"
Duffield CC has won its first major trophy in many a long year by scooping the "Club of the Year" Award at the Amber Valley Sports Awards 2011.
In winning the award the club was up against all other sports club in the Amber Valley region - football, rugby, swimming and so on and it was particularly pleasing to win as we beat local rivals Denby CC into second spot.
On behalf of the judges, Phil Basterfield, Partnership Development Manager for Derbyshire Sport, cited the club's thriving junior section, recognition by the ECB as a Focus Club and our strong links with local schools. The second ground development and our plans for the new pavilion were also mentioned. We are now through to the County final, which will be held on Friday 11 November 2011 at The Roundhouse, Derby.

Clarkey is spending the winter in Perth where he'll play for former Duffield favourite Kris Eliott's club Willetton DCC.
